About Us

Uplifting families impacted by traumatic brain injury with compassion, connection, and hope.

In 1997, my first husband, Brian, suffered a devastating traumatic brain injury that completely changed our lives and the lives of our four children (who were just 7, 5, 3, and 1 at the time). Though our marriage did not survive this trauma, our love and care for our family did. We are, and always will be, forever friends, raising our children in love.

The other wonderful man in my life, Kyle Rigby, stepped in to heal my broken heart and spirit, helping me raise our family of four incredibly resilient children. Together, we then added two beautiful daughters to create a unique but strong tribe of survivors. We are tight. We are strong. And now, we are ready to share our story to help others whose world may be falling apart, just as ours did 28 years ago.

I want to provide light and hope to others and remind them that this, too, is survivable. There can be happiness. There is a brighter tomorrow. But no one can do it alone—we all need cheerleaders to lift us up, shoulders to lean on, and sometimes even a helping hand to get through the rough patches. To honor the woman who showed me how to be strong and survive—my mother, Hope—I have created this new nonprofit.

For any family impacted by or struggling with a traumatic brain injury, I want to hear your story, provide support, and share a message of hope.
